Karen started in underwater photography 10 years ago,and has had the opportunity to work in many of the great destinations of the world. Four years ago she settled in Tonga and started a dive and whale watching operation. "The ocean is my life and has been for as long as I remember, I hope that my photographs show some of the truly wonderful creatures that inhabit these vast spaces. Marine mammals is one of my true passions, however I am also a sucker for macro. The ocean is struggling from the effects of over fishing, pollution, habitat loss and much more. I hope that through my photography people will become aware of some of these problems and we can all work together to keep the ocean alive." Karen is studying Wildlife Management and Zoology.
